Canadian Permanent Residence through Express Entry

Express Entry is Canada’s primary system for managing applications for permanent residence under three federal immigration programs: the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Federal Skilled Trades Program, and the Canadian Experience Class. It’s a points-based system that ranks candidates based on factors like age, education, work experience, language proficiency, and adaptability.

Applicants create an online profile and are entered into a pool of candidates. The highest-ranking candidates receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence. The process is competitive, with regular draws conducted by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
